What is the Event? 

Hear from the Experts – Discussion will concentrate on the progress on the released-based system, Wave 2 of the RSR amendments, changes to the environmental land use restriction regulations to allow the use of environmental use restrictions, and an update on the status of Federal Grants, Loans and the Liability Relief Program.

There will be a short presentation, excellent networking and the opportunity for all attendees to participate in a roundtable discussion. All Members and non-members are invited and encouraged to participate in the discussion. 

Speakers:

• Graham Stevens, Bureau Chief - Water Protection & Land Reuse, will give an update on the progress on the released-based system.
• Kevin Neary, Supervising Environmental Analyst overseeing the Remediation Division’s Eastern District, will speak about Wave 2 of the RSR amendments
• Jade Barber, Environmental Analyst in the Remediation Division’s North Central District, will speak about changes to the environmental land use restriction regulations to also allow the use of environmental use restrictions.
• Mark Lewis, Brownfields Coordinator at Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, will give an update on the status of Federal Grants, Loans and the Liability Relief Program
