Online Login Begins: 7:30am

Course Including Roundtable Discussion: 8am - 10:00am

Location: Online (meeting link and log-on information provided prior to event)

NJ PEs and PGs in other states: You should be able to  apply these credits to those certifications.

What is the Event?  The major topics of BCONE’s August Roundtable will be County and Municipal brownfield related COVID19 challenges, programs and pivots, as well as updates on Opportunity Zones and new initiatives.

The presenters will be John Costello and Sara Sooy of NJEDA. In addition to her post at NJEDA, Sara Sooy also serves as a Somerset County Freeholder.  Sara Sooy will provide her perspective on the brownfield-related implications of COVID19 and how counties and municipalities are responding, and pivoting.  John Costello will provide an update on NJEDA programs, and the status of Opportunity Zones, including update to programs and extensions.  In addition, updates on the forthcoming NJEDA Brownfield Loan program will be provided. The Roundtable will be moderated by Elizabeth Limbrick, PG, LSRP and Sharon McSwieney, LSRP, GEI Consultants.

The presentations will be informative, but short, and time will be allowed for a question and answer period. The rest of the event is an interactive open forum roundtable discussion moderated by Ms. Limbrick and Ms. McSwieney. During this part of the program, attendees are given an opportunity to identify critical issues or concerns they feel directly impact brownfield and related work. Due to the “alternate learning format,” every attendee should participate by raising questions and being active participants during the Roundtable discussion. There may be the need to include some random questions that will require your response to satisfy the issuance of the credits.

Cost (must be paid in full to receive meeting link):

  • $40 - BCONE Members
  • $40 - LSRPA Members (email alazo@eaglesoars.com for the registration code)
  • $55 - Non-Members*
