Now in its 9th year, the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE) will be hosting the Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop (NSCW) 2018, at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, New Jersey, on May 23, 2018. The conference brings together experts and attendees to discuss the most current and state of the art approaches and strategies that you probably will not hear anywhere else
The NSCW's goal is to break new ground, offer new ideas, and posit new concepts on the topics of sustainability, collaboration and leverage, contamination, resiliency, brownfields, technology, and their impact on community revitalization. Our past events have been attended by representatives from government, higher education, professional organizations, and laboratories, as well as attorneys, developers, contractors, and consultants.

Registration and networking will open at 7:45 AM. Opening remarks by Tim Sullivan, CEO of NJEDA, will begin at 8:30 AM sharp! A light breakfast will be provided. Please make sure you arrive on time, so you don't miss anything.
Stay for the Cocktail Networking Reception and you will meet new colleagues and catch up with old ones.
Getting Here Click to view information on website. NSCW will be held in the “Campus Center Building” at NJIT, in Newark NJ. Please proceed to the 2nd floor of the Campus Center when you arrive. We encourage all of our guests to utilize mass transit. However, we recognize that some of our guests will need to drive, and we have provided both public transit and driving directions and a map of the campus here (click here to view the map). Parking will be provided free of charge in the NJIT Student Parking Deck at 154 Summit Street, Newark, NJ. Please allow an extra 10 minutes for parking in the NJIT parking deck and walking to the venue.
