The Environmental Protection Agency’s Brownfield program provides grants to help communities clean up contaminated properties and give them new life.

The EPA on Friday announced $8 million in grants to communities across Vermont, split among eight organizations. The grants include money for brownfields assessment, revolving loan funds and cleanup.
