SAYREVILLE, NJ – After years of environmental remediation, delays related to COVID and other factors, Riverton is “going vertical.”
Construction has begun, and the steel frame of the long-awaited Bass Pro Shop is now visible to every car that passes over the Driscoll Bridge. Last month, the Sayreville Economic Redevelopment Authority (SERA), which has been working with developer North American Properties, announced that a lease deal has been struck between Riverton and Bass Pro, which will be the anchor of the $2.5 billion, 400+ acre mixed-use development along the Raritan River.
